If you squint, the rats form a heart

Hi! I’m Stephanie. I was born in Melbourne and spent my childhood moving from Beijing, Dubai, to eventually Hong Kong—which I usually call home. My mother is Japanese and my father is Chinese, and I grew up attending a Canadian school.

All of that to say—I live in New York now, where I share custody of two pet rats with my boyfriend. Their names are Cosmo and Wanda. I call them “my lovely ladies.”
